
About Me
I am Anglo-Indian and in my mid-forties. I have a wealth of life-experience which I find essential for the work I do. I am warm, empathic and non-judgemental and most people find it easy to feel comfortable with me.I have a Masters degree (MSc) in psychotherapy and a Diploma in counselling both obtained at Metanoia Institute . I am a member of the UKCP, an accredited member of the BACP (MBACP (accredited)) and a Certified Transactional Analyst as well as a member of EATA *and endeavour to adhere to their ethical guidelines.
I am experienced and trained in both one-to-one, couples and groupwork and have run a therapy group at a HIV drop in centre and a group for women affected by alcohol dependency issues.
I use both Transactional Analysis, Psychodynamic and Person Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy skills** in working with you. Our work may be either short term or longer term depending on the type of issue you wish to deal with.
